Against violence, pro ecological coexistence, in harmony with nature, peace

Peace is seen as a child’s dream by most adults. In societies where enough oil and coal is more significant to people than human life, people are being subjugated just to further the undeservedly luxurious lifestyle of rich oil barons in America that will never know their sorrow. Luckily, over 30,000 somalis will find their way into the helping arms of the UNHCR soon.

Wikileaks and other news sources

Currently Wikileaks is a leading source of unfiltered information meant to educate the public on the actual goings on of the government. They continue providing up to date information on al qaeda and the US’s treatment of their activity, as well as other breaches of policy by governmental agencies. Another popular news site for research is borr: news center for the study of terrorism and political violence which can be found at http://www.borrull.org. They are a good resource because they have current news updates and researchers also compare those updates to past instances such as the headlines in the observer, 1/18/2004 thereby drawing connections between the past and the present effectively that other media sources wouldn’t necessarily make. A popular subject being discussed recently is the bombs that took place in London, though it turns out that the madrid bombs not linked: spanish probe reports that are popping up everywhere seem to be true. The family of a cameraman killed in Iraq is ordering a Spanish probe of the situation, in which they assume foul play was committed. The Madrid bombs had nothing to do with this case nor were the necessarily linked with al qaeda activity, thus this probe is meant to extract further information on what did actually occur.
